July 4, 2019 - Happy Independence Day!
Is it already July 4th? Ever since my surgery date was set, time has been traveling in slow motion. July 10th is a day that I am dreading, but at the same time, it can't get here fast enough. It is the necessary next step to achieve my independence from cancer!
Jamie and I have been so very touched by the outpouring of prayers and well wishes. It means the world to us to know we have such a band of prayer warriors behind us.
We don't have any medical updates to share. However, on a lighter note, Jamie and Mason made my day yesterday. We went to see JAWS on the big screen! Some of you may know this fact about me, and others may be surprised. I absolutely LOVE the movie, JAWS. I have seen it many times, but never in a theater - until yesterday. It was an awesome experience.
We hope everyone has a wonderful July 4th celebration with your loved ones. We are continuing our tradition of attending the annual July 4th parade on 30A. Mason always looks forward to it, and this year is no exception.
Everyone stay safe and enjoy this wonderful holiday celebrating our nation's freedom! God Bless you all!
